Welcome to the Riverina Sports Car Association
The RSCA is a motoring organisation based in Albury – Wodonga, with members also living in Southern New South Wales and in the North East of Victoria. The membership of the RSCA is made up of families and individual members who own cars with a sporting heritage. The association currently has a membership of over 200 members and their families.
The foundations for the club were laid down in 1983, when two local sports car enthusiasts Roy Hartles and David Fraser agreed that a get-together of sports car enthusiasts should meet with the view to forming a local motoring group. A public invitation was extended to sports car owners to meet at the Waterwheel in Wodonga Place Albury on Sunday June 5 1983. About 70 interested enthusiasts attended and the first RSCA event was held about one month later in July of 1983.
Current RSCA activities include breakfast and picnic runs, touring events, attendance at motor race meetings, car displays, weekends away and bi-yearly a trip away. For example – past tours have included a Tasmanian 10 day tour and a tour of the South Island of New Zealand.
Club members are encouraged to organise a run or activity for the enjoyment of other club members.
