November Mid week run

Hello lovers of sporty machines,
The next RSCA midweek run will be held on WEDNESDAY 11th NOVEMBER 2026.

Our meeting point will be at Gateway Village from 8:30am for a departure time of 9am.

We’ll start with a short 15 minute drive to Bandiana Army Museum. I’ve been assured there will be plenty of parking spots and the event organiser, SGT Darren Keyten is aware it is remembrance day which will not pose a problem. By the time we’ve all passed through the military gates we’ll be set for a 9:30am inspection of the museum. The tour should last an hour. I was last there 4 years ago and the display was very impressive. They say it is even better now.

As we will be entering a military base, all entrants must be accounted for.

When replying to your attendance you will need to TEXT or EMAIL me your CAR MAKE AND MODEL, REGISTRATION NUMBER AND NAME OF DRIVER AND ALL PASSENGERS.

This will speed up our entry. The gatekeeper will tick us off as we enter.

Museum entry fee is $5 per person or $4 p/p for 20 or more attendees, Eftpos or cash.

On leaving the museum around 10:30am, our run will join the Kiewa Valley Hwy veering right at Wodonga-Yackandandah Rd. Arrival in Yack for the 50 minute morning tea break will be 10:55am. The choice of Gum Tree Pies, Beechworth Bakery, two pubs and a few cafes are in town.

Morning tea finished, at 11:45am, it’s back into our beautiful machines for a 45 minute all up scenic drive through Beechworth, Tarrawingee. Right onto Great Alpine Road finishing in Wangaratta.

Lunch is booked for 12:30pm at the Pinsent Hotel, Wangaratta.

This pub is huge with plenty of parking and offers table service. The menu includes a vast variety and seniors meals for $18.

The culinary delights were sampled yesterday passing with flying colours.

After lunch it’s home time for a nap. Wangaratta to Albury/Wodonga, 50 minutes cruise.

Total mileage from start to Wangaratta is 117km.
