August Midweek run

This Months Mid week run, we are looking to try a new morning tea destination as well as a tried and true lunch venue.

• 9:00 am: Depart Gateway, travel on Plunkett’s Road through Barnawartha to Chiltern
• 9:00 am: Morning Tea available at Didge’s Diner - (1950’s style dinner providing Scones, cakes, spiders, milkshakes, ice cream, coffee, tea and Savory treats)
  
  Andrea (AKA Didge) owns an Austin A55 and her father is in the old cranks, therefore, more than happy to talk cars, clubs and events.
  
  The Chiltern Bakery is across the road if that’s a preference
  
  Seating at Didge’s, the Bakery, and a community courtyard adjacent
• Depart Chiltern by 11:30 am, travel the Beechworth /Chiltern road to Beechworth and on to Myrtleford & Ovens  via the Great Alpine road
• Lunch 12:30 Happy Valley Hotel, Ovens 

The Happy Valley Hotel has proven to be a great destination for good quality, reasonably priced food, ample parking, options for seating, and  scenic drives both to and from the venue.
